Cheap Masters in UK
What’s better than cheap masters in the UK?

Open Secret: A STARTUP VISA MIGHT BE CHEAPER THAN A CHEAP MASTERS DEGREE IN THE UK!!!.

While the student visa and the startup visa share some similarities in terms of what they offer(ability to work, move with your family, etc), we at eMigr8 know that the startup visa is a better bet. You’ll know why after reading his article.

So before you continue googling “cheap masters in UK”, let me show you 4 ways the Startup visa is better than the student visa:

1. SLIGHTLY CHEAPER

According to Oluseun Fadiora, an alumnus of the innovator visa, the amount of money you will pay to your average endorser is almost the same as you would pay for a master’s degree.

And I can tell you this: sometimes it’s cheaper.

Most countries don’t need you to have funds for your Startup. They only need you to have a business idea that’s new, innovative, and scalable(we can help with that). If you meet these 3 criteria, then an endorsing body can endorse your idea and off you go.

If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, then this is the cheapest route for you. Even if you don’t, we can coach you.

2. EASIER PATHWAY TO SETTLEMENT

The UK Startup visa doesn’t lead to settlement directly. It is only valid for 2 years and cannot be renewed.
If your Startup succeeds  You can apply for ILR(Indefinite leave to remain) after 3 years on the innovator visa.

Fadiora shed more light on how beneficial this is below.

It is important to note that most countries including the UK realize that Startup fails so you do not need to be worried. You can easily switch to other visas in the UK if that happens

Also note that for a student visa, you’ll need up to 10 years before you can apply for IRL.

3. LESS COMPETITIVE

Let me use Nigeria and UK as a case study. There are hundreds of people applying for student visas every year. Meanwhile, there are only about a fraction of that number of Nigerians on the Startup/Innovator visa in the UK.

And amazingly, it is easier than you think especially. We can guide you through the process.

4. WORK FULL TIME

Most students in most countries are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. But most countries allow you to work full time on a startup visa. What could be more exciting than that?

These countries understand that you have to provide for yourself and your family pending the time your Startup starts to gain traction.

Thre’s a catch though: You have to work on your Startup. YOU CAN NOT ABANDON YOUR STARTUP.

MOVE WITH YOUR FAMILY

While both visas allow you to move with your family, the conditions attached to moving with your family on the startup visa are more favourable than moving on a student visa, in my personal opinion.

In conclusion, moving as an Expatriate i.e (a Startup founder) is BETTER than moving as a student for a cheap masters in the UK or any other country. There’s a certain prestige when you identify as an entrepreneur rather than as a student.

And as I said, it’s easier than you think. So, take a leap of faith and let us help you move to your dream country.

At eMigr8, we have a campaign called “Move To The UK in 3-6months”. It is based on the Startup visa. If you are interested in this service, please visit https://bit.ly/3OpocsI  or leave a comment below.
